Joining FAU following his high school graduation, Mike saw action at the Michigan State game and worked on the special teams unit in the Owls’ Shula Bowl win over FIU. Mike played for Palm Beach Gardens High School, competing in Florida’s highest classification. Mike finished the 2023 season with a 6-5 record where he played in 10 games, recorded 38 tackles, including 27 solos and had one TFL while adding two interceptions, five pass deflections, and one fumble recovery! 247 gives Wright a 129 composite ranking at safety and a 173 ranking in Florida and ESPN rating 146 for his position, 656 in the region, and 211 in the state.
